Blackleach Country Park

Blackleach is a green oases tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They are havens for wildlife and provide open space for everyone to enjoy, ideal places to get away from it all and discover the countryside on your doorstep. There are woodlands, grasslands, ponds and lakes to explore and hidden remnants of Salford’s industrial past to discover. Miles of paths and trails, including Clifton's easy Lake Trail and longer Perimeter Trail mean you'll never be short of a new walk to discover.
Salford Ranger Team puts on an exciting and varied programme of activities throughout the year - not just at the country parks but also at other parks and open spaces in the city - including a series of guided walks throughout the year.
