Country Walks

The department for environment food & rural affairs DEFRA has provided access to footpaths on farmland as part of its farm conservation schemes which help farmers and land managers protect and improve the countryside, its wildlife and history. It is permisive access and no new rights of way are being created. Please use the web link to access the walks/maps. There are 5 sites in Trafford 4 are listed under Greater Manchester and 1- Red House Farm under Cheshire. Please remember that these are working farms, follow the Country Code and observe any other requirements. People following the walks do so at their own risk.
