Burrs Country Park Caravan Club Site

On a historic mill site, Burrs has much to offer, relaxing river and countryside walks with the East Lancashire Steam railway passing by. Easily accessible,situated just north of Bury town centre and handy for trips into Manchester using the Mertolink tram service. The park is based around the River Irwell and the remains of two cotton mills. There are many opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as climbing, abseiling and canoeing at all levels. The park to has many trails and a permanent orienteering course. The Brown Cow pub is within the park.
