Red's owner Jo Fielding has joined forces with renowned head chef 'Alex Worrall' who hails from pedigree establishments such as The Lowry Hotel's River Room, Sharrow Bay and Bibendum of Kensington. Together they have created what is surely one of the North's most exciting dining experiences.

Set in a carefully restored sandstone bank, the interior boasts a renaissance style; An eclectic mix of sumptuous fabrics, luxurious boudoir style seating and striking chandeliers.

The cuisine is modern European and is created using only the freshest, locally sourced produce, by Michelin trained chefs.

Red Restaurant and Bar is the proud winner of 'Restaurant of the Year' awarded by Lancashire Life magazine as part of their annual quality awards scheme. The awards ceremony was held at the Adobe Hotel in Manchester.

The award to Red Bar & Restaurant, Westhoughton, was cited the judges, "In recognition of Jo Fielding's vision in turning a semi-derelict bank into a stylish rendezous and local culinery beacon."
